Hi MID Fans!

It’s every surfers dream to go on a sweet boat trip in search of waves deep in the South Pacific. Recently, Magic Island friend and Team Rider Matt Grunke had a great excursion down to the Islands of Fiji and Tonga and scored some absolutely sick waves at spots like Cloudbreak and Frigates Pass.

Earl Swell

Toward the end of last week Hurricane Earl brought some nice swell to the east coast. The Magic Island team was stoked to catch two killer days of surf on sandbars from as far south as Boca Raton and as far north as Stuart Florida.

The perfect, glassy, light-offshore conditions created two killer days of surf and friends of Magic Island got us some sick pictures of the surf at their local beaches.

In Jupiter, Magic Island Friend George Eigner scored some sick sandbar barrels and happened to grab a few sick shots of the surf before paddling out. Enjoy the pics of Hurricane Earl swell and here’s to hoping for more Hurricane Swell this season!!!!

Hope the first day of September is treating everyone well!

Recently our friend Collin Harrington has become more and more involved with photography. As he has expanded his photography skills, Collin has begun to dabble in contests for Photography.

Today he contacted us at Magic Island asking for support in his latest photo contest. As Collin is a friend of Magic Island, we gladly obliged to doing anything we could to help his cause.
